We would like to wish all the friends, clients and contacts of The Bildeston Crown a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This year, instead of sending cards, we are going the eco route and giving a donation to our favourite local charity - the St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich.

Opening Hours:

The restaurant will be open as usual throughout the holiday period but the hotel will be closed for accommodation on the following nights: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Our bedrooms are fully booked for New Year's Eve but there will be a taxi available to hire for local journeys from 1.30am. If you require require this service, please contact us ASAP to book your timeslot.

Chris' tips for a perfect traditional turkey lunch

  • Buy a fresh local turkey from reputable source;
  • Don't stuff the carcass- this only adds to cooking time. Do the stuffing separately;
  • Use a timer. Best meals are planned and so don't be frightened to work out a schedule of what should go on when;
