Weird & Wonderful Wood

Suffolk Show

Anticipated yearly, attracting vendors from all across East Anglia and dating back as far as the 19th century, is the Suffolk Show! An event that can’t be missed, combining all the best aspects of Suffolk from sports to wildlife, to agriculture, music and food!

The July Festival

Three days in the heart of Summer packed full of unmissable events. Step into the races and experience the long Newmarket tradition. However, horseracing is not all you’ll find as every evening is finished with live entertainment.

BNatural Festival

No more than a five-minute walk away is a local & homegrown music festival right here in Bildeston. Free to attend as unpaid volunteers have worked hard throughout the year to ensure a fun event full of quality music that’s welcome to all.

Autumn

Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival

Here marks the end of Summer and the transition to Autumn, bringing together over a hundred food & drink vendors. Taking place at the art center, Snape Maltings, there’ll be no lack of music, producers, makers, growers and chefs!

Ickworth Lights Night Walks

One way to spend an Autumn is wandering through a Georgian Estate, illuminated just enough to be able to gaze upon the willow woven animal sculptures. Ickworth Estate is worth visiting during the day, but at night it is far from the same, and certainly not an experience you’d want to miss either!
